As an experienced Safeguarding Lead and SENCo, Sarah brings knowledge and expertise in the area of school improvement with a particular focus on inclusion. She has worked in primary and secondary schools in Staffordshire for 17 years – 16 of those as a middle or senior leader.

Sarah works to ensure that our academies are child-focussed and solution-focussed to overcome barriers so that children in our academies can unlock their God-given talents.

Sarah chairs the Newcastle district primary SEND and Inclusion Hub and is one of the education representatives on the Relational and Restorative Management group for Staffordshire Local Authority. A passionate believer that relational and restorative practice is intrinsic to operating in an inclusive, compassionate and distinctively Christian manner, Sarah values child-centred practice and social justice. Sarah is committed to evidence-based and research-led practice and, over recent years, she has used research to inform the development of inclusion practice in our academies.
