Debbie is an experienced Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) and Deputy SENCo, and a member of the leadership team in an academy school. For the past 15 years, Debbie has championed inclusive practice and supported children with special educational needs across a variety of roles, always taking a child-centred approach that seeks to remove barriers to learning and enable every child to reach their God-given potential.

As an Academy Attendance Champion, Debbie also works closely with children and families to promote regular attendance, ensuring that pupils can flourish and experience life in all its fullness.

In her role as SEND Outreach Project Officer, Debbie is committed to supporting inclusive practices in educational settings, enabling young people to thrive both in their education and in wider life.
