We hold an ambitious vision for our young people, one that goes beyond qualifications to shape futures filled with purpose, opportunity and possibility. Careers education is central to that mission.
Through our partnership with the Careers & Enterprise Company (CEC) and Equalex, we are building a careers programme that is both aspirational and deeply grounded in real-world experience. These partnerships strengthen our commitment to providing every learner with access to diverse, representative and high-quality encounters with employers, ensuring they see themselves in the futures they might one day pursue.
We are intentionally developing relationships with a wide range of industries; technology, engineering, health, creative sectors, sustainable industries and beyond, so students experience the world of work in authentic, meaningful ways. From employer visits, project briefs and mentoring, to workplace immersion and virtual opportunities, our aim is simple: to broaden horizons, dismantle barriers, and connect young people to futures they may never have considered.
Our careers provision does not just inform, it inspires. It equips learners with the knowledge, confidence and networks they need to thrive in a rapidly changing world, ensuring that every young person leaves us prepared, empowered and ready to take their place in shaping the future.

Careers Champions
These champions form our Trust-wide Careers Working Group, providing a collaborative space to share practice, align strategy, and drive careers innovation across all phases.
This network ensures that careers education remains a golden thread running through every academy, supporting aspiration, readiness for life, and the development of meaningful employer partnerships.
This is the kind of work they are engaging with:
Developing our Trust-wide Careers Strategy, ensuring alignment to the Three Spires Strategic Plan and the Equalex Framework
Designing and implementing the Careers Curriculum, including MyPath, Equalex (KS3), and Gateways (KS4–KS5)
Leading staff training, supporting teachers and departments to embed careers through curriculum time, CPD, briefings and in-school coaching
Driving NextGen Phase II, ensuring that careers, skills and employer engagement remain central to the Next Gen pillars
Supporting the rollout of GlobalBridge, helping students develop and maintain a high-quality learner profile
Coordinating Equalex and Gateway activity, including sector days, employer encounters, workplace challenges and meaningful work experience
Strengthening employer partnerships, identifying sector links for subject areas and cultivating sustainable relationships with local, regional and national organisations
Contributing to digital careers innovation, collaborating with Unifrog, MyPath and other platforms to enhance access to information and guidance
Running careers enrichment, such as aspiration days, mentoring programmes, workplace visits and theme-based careers events
Sharing best practice, evaluating impact, and shaping a coherent Trust-wide approach to careers and skills development
The Role of Our Careers Champions
Our Careers Champions play a vital role in building a future-focused, aspirational culture across the Trust. They ensure that every student regardless of background has access to the knowledge, experiences and skills needed to transition successfully into their next best step.
By driving high-quality careers education, fostering strong employer links, and embedding skills through the Employer Competency Framework, they help all young people see possibility, gain confidence, and take purposeful steps toward flourishing futures.
