05 Jul Primary Improvement Advisor appointed as additional academies set to join Three Spires!
Following the green light from the Department for Education for additional primary schools to join Three Spires Trust, the team will be bolstered by the appointment of a new school improvement advisor for primary commencing in January 2024.
The Trust is marking another milestone as two current associate members are set to become Three Spires academies later this year. It is expected that St Giles’ and St George’s Academy in Newcastle-under-Lyme and Hanley St Luke’s CofE Primary will join Three Spires formally during the autumn term.
To support this growth, the Trust are delighted to have recruited an experienced primary leader to support core and associate members on their school improvement journey. Lynne Williamson has served as a headteacher in North Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent for the past fifteen years, and is currently Headteacher of Hanley St Luke’s.
Emily Verow, Chief Executive of Three Spires Trust remarked, “We are delighted to have appointed Lynne to help guide and support our primary academies. Lynne brings with her a wealth of experience and a passion for education; her skills and knowledge will undoubtedly support leadership in our schools.”
Upon her appointment, Lynne Williamson commented, “I am truly excited to take up this new post. I feel really privileged to be offered the opportunity to work alongside all the wonderful schools already in the Trust and indeed, those yet to join. There is so much expertise that sits within every school and it will be a joy and a privilege to enable that expertise to spread and to grow for the benefit of all the children in our care so that they really can ‘have life and have it to the full’. I am very eager to begin!”
