20 Apr TST welcomes St Peter’s Caverswall as an associate member
Three Spires Trust is delighted to welcome St Peter’s CE (A) Primary School in Caverswall as its latest associate member.
The start of the summer term has marked another milestone for the Trust, shortly after welcome its fourth full member academy, as St Peter’s Primary in North Staffordshire has joined the trust as a new associate member.
Associate membership allows the Trust and school to work closely together and will allow St Peter’s and its staff and children to benefit from collaboration that the Trust can offer. Under the arrangements, the St Peter’s will remain a local maintained school, with both governance and funding arrangements remaining unchanged. Crucially, it also offers a “try before you buy” period should the school wish to consider officially joining the Trust at a later date.
Trust Chief Financial Officer, Richard Mayfield said: “It’s fantastic to welcome St Peter’s Primary as an associate member of Three Spires. The school and Trust ethos and values completely align by providing the very best Christian education to the local children of Caverswall and this marks an important milestone in our partnership. As an associate member both staff and children will benefit from the school to school support and opportunities we offer as they explore academisation.
Sarah George, Headteacher commented: “St Peter’s Primary has been warmly welcomed as an associate member of Three Spires Trust. We look forward to working with you all working as a school family for the benefit of the children in our community”.
