Zoe joined the Trust in January 2024 as the new Principal of Hanley St Luke’s at an exciting time in the school’s journey to joining Three Spires.

Zoe has twenty three years teaching and leadership experience in primary education. She passionate about education and all it has to offer our children. Her journey began as an Early Years Practitioner, known as an NNEB. Zoe worked in social care day nurseries then gained employment in a primary school where her journey towards becoming a teacher began.

As a Specialist Leader of Education for Pupil Premium Zoe believes all children regardless of background show great potential to achieve, lead, succeed and inspire others. As a leader my role is a privilege, vocation and life choice. As a Christian leader she has a proven record of working with others to embed clear systems and procedures providing stability and a sense of pride to a school community. A former city school led by Zoe is now well respected and highly regarded within the local community with a strongly GOOD Ofsted.

In her journey to Headship, Zoe has taught throughout the key stages , including Y2 and Y6 SATS and led on Pupil Premium, SEND, Maths, Parent Partnerships, transition, PE and Early Years. In her time at St Gregory’s Catholic Academy as the Assistant Headteacher she led the foundations for their well deserved rating of Outstanding across the board. Previously at Weston Coyney Infant school, a Beacon School, Zoe led the Early Years , working in partnership with the Local Authority advising schools across Stoke-On-Trent. Zoe also led the Early Years departments through two Ofsted inspections where we secured Outstanding.

Throughout her leadership career Zoe has led rapid improvements through robust monitoring, coaching, mentoring and a collaborative approach to school improvement. Her role in education is at the heart of who she is as a Christian and primary educator.
