Three Spires take great pride in collaborating with the DfE as a System Leader for The Trust and School Improvement (TSI).

The TSI stands as a crucial instrument to ensure that schools and trusts within our community and beyond receive optimal support, both in the immediate and long-term perspectives. In the short term, our focus is on assisting the leaders of schools in developing high-quality, evidence-based improvement strategies that effectively address and prioritize their unique needs. Looking ahead, we aim to consider sustained support for their enduring progress.

Acknowledged as a high-performing MAT, Three Spires understands the pivotal role of system leaders in delivering the TSI offer. Our leadership and expertise serve as the bedrock for fostering continuous and strengthened school improvement for schools and trusts across the West Midlands.

Right from the initiation, we engage with recipient schools and trusts in a manner that cultivates an understanding of their current context, strengths, and needs, fostering a relationship built on transparency and trust. Our approach to school improvement projects is grounded in a ‘done with’ and ‘not to’ philosophy, recognizing that only through collaboration can schools truly flourish.

Eligible schools and trusts can benefit from the following support:

  1. Up to 10 days of support and advice from a system leader.
  2. Guidance on additional available support (e.g., curriculum and behaviour hubs), assistance in identifying activities to address specific needs, and guidance on how to access these resources.
  3. A strategic conversation about long-term sustainable improvement, including considerations for joining a robust MAT.
