Tim was appointed to Principal in January 2023, following four months as acting Principal where he led St Peter’s through their most recent Ofsted inspection. He is an experienced leader with fourteen years’ teaching experience in Telford, Cannock, Sandwell and Wolverhampton.

Tim is passionate about education and how leaders can mitigate the barriers encountered by pupils. He is a student of leadership, reading widely to identify suitable systems and practices to improve the experience of pupils. Tim completed his NPQH at Cardinal Griffin Catholic College as an assistant headteacher where he worked on the senior leadership team for six years. He is currently completing his EdD at the University of Cambridge which is nearing submission. This has taught him the value of being research-led and evidence-informed.

Tim is excited for the future and is planning to move some of St Peter’s into temporary classrooms in preparation for the partial rebuild of the Academy starting in September 2023.
