St Peter’s Collegiate make a Difference on national stage!

Students and staff from St Peter’s Collegiate Academy in Wolverhampton joined the Archbishop of Canterbury last Thursday (1st February) to launch the Difference for Secondary Schools resource.

Students from St Peter’s attended the Church of England National Education Conference last week to support the launch of a brand new resource from Difference to support young people gain the tools and skills necessary to engage constructively and respectfully to grow welcoming school communities.

The Archbishop, Justin Welby was also joined on stage by students from St Peter’s Church of England School in Stoke, together the two groups of students questioned him about why he had made reconciliation a priority for the Church, and what advice he would give people struggling to forgive friends and family.

The free six week course from Difference, that explores important themes including human flourishing, hope, respect and living well together will be rolled out across other Trust secondary schools in the coming weeks.
