Kate Jackson is Headteacher of St Michael’s CE (A) Primary School and The Ark – a Specialist SEND Unit for pupils with SEMH needs. She has led the school for 16 years, taking it from requires improvement to outstanding. Kate graduated from Cambridge University with a First Class Honours degree, before completing her NPQH.

Kate has been a teacher for all her professional life; teaching across the country and has held senior leadership positions for 29 years.

Kate is currently the Chair of the ConnectEd Partnership in Wolverhampton serving 106 primary and secondary schools.

Kate is passionate about the inclusion of all children, regardless of experience or background, and works tirelessly to enable them all to flourish. Her values are inspired by her Christian faith and underpin her drive for excellence for all. She is passionate about inspiring others and immensely optimistic about the future.
